Sweet Potatoes


This rainy season, I love to eat fried or boiled sweet potatoes while watching movies. Sweet potatoes contain-ounce for ounce- more iron, vitamin A and vitamin E than white potatoes. They’re also full of fiber and antioxidants like beta carotene (this explains why the more you eat sweet potato, the more you fart) .

Sweet potatoes are great when baked, with a little orange juice and cinnamon flavoring, or peeled, or cut into sticks, lightly coated with olive oil and roasted for about 20 minutes in a 400֯ F oven.
