Dim sum for you
Ask what type of dim sum is in them . Too bad, we're not yet expert in Thail language so we just lift the lid and take a look anf if we like it we give it to the wait person.
Avoid ordering too much at once. It may be more filling than you expect.

Thai Dishes at Ging Kalpapruek
Last october 21-23 we went to Bangkok to renew my passport and get a new one for our lil boy. We went to Siam paragon afterward and tried Thai delicacy at Ging Kalpapruek. It's just an open restaurant. It's filled with customers so I concluded that their food must be something to attract such huge crowd so we decided to try their food.
Hyzyd loves the cantaloupe blend I ordered for him.

What's in an eggplant?
While eggplant cannot boast about its nutritional content as compared with green and yellow vegetables, it does have nutritional, culinary, and medicinal merits.
Eggplant is cholesterol-free and low in calories and sodium. It has phytochemical monoterpene that may help prevent the growth of cancer cells. Its skin adds to its dietary fiber content.
To enhance an eggplants nutritional benefit, combine it with nutritious ingredients like eggs, tomatoes, and other lowland veggies like swamp cabbage (kangkong), Chinese cabbage (pechay), or string beans.
Australian researchers developed an organic topical cream from glycoalkaloids, a group of cancer-killing compounds present in eggplants. Glycoalkaloids invade a cancer cell and stimulate the cell’s own digestive enzymes, which cause lesions to disappear in as short as 4 weeks.

Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes are great when baked, with a little orange juice and cinnamon flavoring, or peeled, or cut into sticks, lightly coated with olive oil and roasted for about 20 minutes in a 400֯ F oven.

Health Benefits of Mangosteen
I have eaten lots of mangosteen ever since I came here in
Scientists have found the juice from the thick and rough rind of mangosteen to contain xanthones-biologically active, natural chemical substances that have extremely potent antioxidants that can fight inflammation, bacteria, fungus infection, allergies, and even cancer. The greatest discovery to date is that xanthones can exhibit the oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL).
Mangosteen juice should not be taken as medication but as food supplement to enhance and strengthen the immune system of the body. Magosteen juice is now commercially available in health food stores. Suggested intake is 1-2 oz., three times daily for known medical ailments. For preventive dose, take 1 oz., two time daily.

Father's Day celebration
The place:
The best daddy in the world:)
yummy cakes:
the mommy can't resist the urge to have a photo too:)
We order the milk cake. The cake "floats" on a milk and the cake tastes like "leche flan" minus the too much sweetness. Cocoa powder is on top of it.
