Pizza Hut's Newest promotion

There's a new craze at Pizza Hut this month. It's their 12 cones pizza filled with creamed crabstick , shrimps and pineapple slices. If you buy this pizza alone it cost 339 baht but if you'll get the package with 12 Cones Pizza, 4 pieces New Orleans Wings or the Spicy BBQ Wings , Bread Sticks with dipping sauce, shrimp buschetta and Spaghetti with mixed seafood in spicy sauce, it will only cost 499 baht.

My hubby loves the 12 cones pizza and we went there twice this week!

Happy Award for my tasty exploration

Are you happy? I am 100% happy. I have Jesus Christ in my heart. He teaches me to happy even on small things. He gave me wisdom on how to be happy no matter what life throws at me.

Nedekcir gave me a Happy 101 Award. Thank you so much. You make me happier.

Here are some of the reasons that contribute to my happiness:

1. close relationship with God
2. my happy and contented family
3. my calling as a teacher
4. my friends both online and offline
5. a simple date with hubby, a kiss from Hyzyd
6. nutritious and delicious food
7. great movies
8. good books
9. blogging
10. witnessing miracles, seeing prayers being answered.

Studies on what makes people happy reveal that it doesn't have much to do with material goods or high achievement; it seems to whittle down to your outlook on life, and the quality of your relationships with the people around you. If you appreciate your life you are sure to be a happy person!

Be Happy!

Adventures with Mara's Appetite

Tasty Exploration was born to house my food exploration here in Thailand. I think I've found my counterpart in Mara's Appetite. The author loves to explore food too. Obviously, she confessed that she spend most of her money on food. I am with her for that...he..he...

Visiting Mara's food site, you'll notice right and then that it's a food blog because of the images on her header that features cakes and sweets. The page elements are well-organized and there's no unnecessary widgets on the page. I noticed that on her sidebar she had the "Tip Box" where she'll use the tips/donations for a noble cause- to buy a G11 camera for better Food Photos or for purchase of a much suited layout. Now, that shows that this author is dead serious of giving the best for her readers. She values customers!

One thing that also came to my attention is her love for Japanese cuisine! I'm a Japanese food lover, too! That would bring us together...he..he..I just hope that the author will take time to make a page about herself to know her better. Her love for food and writing food reviews will surely paves the way of becoming a certified food reviewer in the blogosphere.

Click on and let's join the adventures of Mara's Appetite!

Licking Pehpot's dishes

Let's taste Pehpot's dishes today at Dishes by Pehpot. It's a Filipino food blog that features the author’s own recipes and gorgeous photos of her culinary creations. Visiting her blog makes me miss Filipino dishes like Pork Sinigang and Nilagang Baka . Instead of missing them, why not cook them using the recipes shared by the author? She writes her direction in a simple way and keep descriptions as brief and to the point as possible, without compromising the accuracy. The use of numerals when writing the recipe is very helpful as well as the preparation steps that includes all special instructions and cooking times.

Dishes by Pehpot has three column template which its post area is in farther left side.It looks clean and professional (as always) and I noticed it has the same pattern as with the other blogs.
Header and footer is designed by the author herself. The image of a mom in her kitchen suits well to the blog's theme. No other template bears the same image and that makes it stand out to the rest of other food blogs.

a proof to show to you that header and footer is created by Pehpot

As a home cook, I am grateful to Dishes by Pehpot for sharing Filipino recipes. I am recommending this site to my friends here in Thailand who's craving for Filipino dishes.
